Muddy Roads May Cause Traffic Hazzard — Sugarbeet harvest is underway in North Dakota and Minnesota. In areas busy with trucks hauling to piling stations and equipment moving from field to field, motorists may see signs that say “mud on road.” Sugarbeet grower Jay Gudajtes near Minto, North Dakota says the signs help direct trucks, but also are a warning to motorists that roads may be muddy or slippery. Jay took RRFN's Mike Hergert and Jody Heemstra out to see their sugarbeet harvest. It was Jody's first sugarbeet experience.
